My name is Danielle Barron. I am a licensed massage therapist and Reiki Master/Teacher. Originally from the Greater Boston area, I graduated from massage school in 2013 and have since completed various other certifications to assist in bodywork sessions. Strangely, I didn't always know that healing was my "thing". I began my adult life enlisting in the USMC and spent years moving, starting a family and (my favorite part) becoming a mom of three. Once I regained my freedom, I went to cosmetology school. As much as I loved being able to express myself creatively through my work, it wasn't my "thing". Clients I worked with loved my scalp massages and that is how I ended up in massage school.
In July 2017, Madison became my home and the most influential part of my journey. As an employee and independent contractor of various spas, clinics and studios, I seemed to build and retain a "side business" throughout my career. Despite the difficulty and uncertainty of a pandemic, I chose to see opportunity and started putting all of my time into finding more ways to assist clients with their own healing. Following instincts, I took the leap, left my job and officially gave my "side gig" a name. Beyond Balance Bodywork was born in November of 2020. The first couple years have been a whirlwind and I am beyond excited to continue growing and learning as many ways as possible to assist people of all walks of life achieve their unique balance.
As much as I love to assist in healing, I have a passion for teaching as well. In November 2021, I completed coursework for Reiki Teacher. In addition to providing Reiki energy healing for clients, I will be able to teach the courses for those who are interested in becoming Reiki practitioners. In October 2022, I finished the first Phase in education requirements for Brainspotting certification and plan to complete this coursework to provide the service to clients within the next few years.
Sound Healing is still on my list as I have acquired the singing bowls and tuning forks required for sound baths so more to come on this modality as well!
